TUI Flights and Hotels
On Board
You’ll notice a few changes on your next flight with TUI with a number of new measures in place. The first thing you’ll need to do is use the TUI App to check in and download your boarding pass. Or, check in online.
You’ll also be asking you to complete a brief health declaration 24 hours before you fly.
The crew will be wearing face masks and you’ll also need to wear one during the flight, and maybe at the airport, too.
Before you board, your plane will have been deep-cleaned from nose to tail. All aircraft are fitted with state-of-the-art filters and ventilation systems, which carefully control the air quality and flow fresh air through the cabin every few minutes. And, everything TUI do will be in line with the very latest advice from the government and holiday industry experts.
When you touch down in your destination, you’ll need to keep your mask on as you leave the plane and make your way through the airport. Where possible, there will be TUI staff to welcome you and guide you through the airport to your transfers – at a safe distance, of course.
In Your Destination
You’ll also notice some changes in our destinations. The TUI App will be used to update you on airport transfers and – where possible – more buses will be made available to reduce the number of passengers on board at any one time.
The in-resort teams have been training for weeks. And, all resorts and hotels will have the highest possible hygiene standards in place before they re-open. Guest rooms and all other areas of the hotel will be regularly and thoroughly deep-cleaned. Plus, other measures will be in place, in line with the local regulations in resort. For example, you might see social distancing markers – these could be everywhere from restaurants and entertainment venues right through to the sunbeds by the pool. Sports and spa facilities will likely be adapted, too. You could also see more table service and less self-service – but you can still expect the same excellent service TUI is famous for.
